To many students reading is simply scanning text or looking at pictures.  To keep pace with the class, may I recommend the definition of reading found at dictionary.com (below). 

1. to look at carefully so as to understand the meaning of (something written, printed, etc.)

To keep up with the calendar above, you may need to read at home! 

Class time is for computer instruction, computer work and clarification of your reading of the text.
