In Business Computer Applications II (BCA II), we will be working with advanced features of the programs you learned in Business Computer Applications I (BCA I) and working with several new ones as time permits.

BCA II is an advanced level course and appropriate work habits and attitudes are expected!

EXPECTATIONS:

·You are expected to be able to remain on task and off the Internet unless directed by the instructor.  Your grade will be penalized--work habits.
·
You are expected to have a first class-business like-attitude and work habits.
·You are expected to have the required material for class everyday--work habits.
·You will be required to work independently as well as in groups.
·
Deadlines will be adhered to unless arrangements are made.
·
This class can be enjoyable and you can earn the grade you desire if you are willing to put forth the effort!
·
Respect:  For your classmates, teacher, computer and classroom/school policies.
·Protect your work.
·Perform basic file maintenance.
·Help others--do not do their work for them.
·Report any vandalism or misuse of classroom equipment.
·ALL DATES ON THE WEBSITE ARE TARGETS OR BENCHMARKS AND MAY or WILL BE   CHANGED.   IF YOU FINISH BEFORE A GIVEN DATE, YOU ARE TO CONTINUE WORKING ON    THE NEXT SET OF ASSIGNMENTS!

Use of WTHS Technology

You are expected to use the technology supplied to you by WTHS in an acceptable manner. The WTHS AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) is provided to you in your student handbook.  View the AUP on-line. 

Safety Reminders: Acceptable Use Policy Reminders

  1. Students should not give out personal information such as address, telephone number, parents’ work address or telephone number, or the name and location of the school without parental permission.

  2. Students should tell their parents immediately if they come across any information that makes them feel uncomfortable.

  3. Students should never agree to get together or meet someone that they "meet" on-line without first checking with their parents.

  4. Students should never send anyone their picture or any other item without first checking with their parents.

  5. Students should not respond to any messages that make them feel uncomfortable, and should tell their parents immediately if they receive any such message.
