Meet the Technology Advisory Committee
What is your vision of the high school of the future? How can
technology help us begin to realize this vision now? How can we promote
communication and create better connections between Warren learners and
information?
These are just a few of the questions a newly formed group addresses on
the first Wednesday of every month. The twenty-five members of the
Technology Advisory Committee are parents, business leaders, community
members, students, teachers, and staff members who have committed
themselves to helping plan the future of communications and information
access at Warren Township High School.
To date, the committee has examined current communication and
information practices at the high school, researched emerging
technologies, and conducted a gap analysis. Currently, the committee is
developing a plan of action which will result in a revised technology
plan, to be presented at the April Board of Education meeting at Warren.
The community is invited to follow the proceedings of the committee at
the following web site: http://www.wths.net/tac/
Parents and community members who would like to share their views on
information technology are invited to do so by emailing Bill Chapin at bchapin@wths.net
