A Communications and Information Plan
for Warren Township High School

 

TEACHER TECHNOLOGY SURVEY LONGITUDINAL ANALYSIS RESULTS

Beginning in the 1996 – 1997 school year, teachers at Warren Township High School have voluntarily participated in a survey that measures their comfort and knowledge level in the various applications of technology in the teaching and learning process.  The survey is based on the International Society of Technology Educators standards for pre-service teachers.

In the first year that the survey was administered, in addition to an item response tally, the following information was reported:

In seventeen instances, items remained in the same quartile based on the percent of “agrees” responses; thirty-two items moved into the next higher quartile, and four responses moved up two quartiles.

There is an overall shift indicating that a greater percentage of respondents report a greater comfort and skill level with the use of technology in the teaching and learning process.
