Rob Piggott is in his tenth season with the Warren program.  The 2008 season will be his fourth as an assistant varsity coach, working as the pitching coach and the program pitching coordinator.

 

Piggott spent four years as the sophomore coach, winning the 2002 North Suburban Conference championship, and one year as the freshman A team coach.  He also spent three years coaching Stevenson’s sophomore summer league baseball team.

 

A graduate of the University of Evansville, Piggott played three years of varsity baseball as a pitcher and earned his degree in Secondary Education.  Prior to Evansville, Piggott played two years of varsity baseball at Stevenson High School as a pitcher and an outfielder.

Greg Piggott joins the Warren program after working with the Libertyville High School freshman team last season.  Piggott’s baseball career includes coaching summer league baseball at Fremd in 2005 and working at the Stevenson Baseball Camp in 2005-06.

 

He played four years of baseball at Stevenson High School.  He was named Honorable Mention All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Area his senior year.

 

Piggott is also the freshman basketball coach at Warren.

E. J. Zbikowski is a new member to the Warren coaching staff.  Zbikowski began his coaching career at Elk Grove High School, serving as a volunteer assistant in 2007.

 

Zbikowski attended Buffalo Grove High School, playing football and baseball, earning all-conference honors in both sports his senior year.  He attended Oakton Community College, where he played two seasons, and later attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he played two more years and garnered all-conference honors in 2005 as well as the league’s Defensive Player of the Year award.

Darrell is a new member of the Warren coaching staff. He is a 2003 graduate of Mundelein High School where is was a 4 year left handed pitcher for the Mustangs.

 

Darrel went on to play four years of collegiate baseball at Elmhurst College where he lead his team to the CCIW conference tournament in 2007.

 

Darrell is a completing his student teaching a Warren.

K.C. Lange is entering his fourth year with the Warren baseball program.  Lange served as an assistant coach with Warren’s sophomore team in 2005 before coaching the freshman A team in 2006-07.  He served as an assistant coach with the varsity team during summer league play in 2007.

 

Lange began his high school coaching career with West Aurora High School as an assistant baseball and basketball coach in 2003-04.

 

A graduate of Prospect High School in 1995, Lange played two years of varsity football and baseball, batting .385 his senior year.  He continued playing while attending MacMurray college in Jacksonville, IL, serving as the team captain in 2000 and starting at eight different positions during the 2000 season.

 

Following graduation, Lange received a contract with the Springfield Capitals, formerly of the Frontier League, in 2000.

 

Lange played football with the Kane County Eagles football team, winning a national championship in 2003 in the North American Football League

Keith Stocker is entering his second season as head coach of the freshman A team.  Entering his third year with the program, he spent one season as the assistant coach of the freshman A team and one season as the head coach of the freshman B team.

 

Stocker’s coaching career includes a stint as an assistant coach of the freshman A team at James B. Conant High School.

 

Stocker played four years of baseball at Dundee Crown High School before attending William Rainey Harper College from 1999-2001.  He played two more years at Harper before transferring to Northern Illinois University, where he finished his playing career with one more season.

Rick Hill

Rick Hill is beginning his tenth year as a coach with Warren baseball. A graduate of Waukegan High School, Hill began working with the program in 1999 as an assistant varsity coach. In 2002, he took over the head coaching position of the Warren freshman team before joining back up with the varsity in 2004 as a volunteer pitching coach. Hill will work with the freshman and sophomore teams as pitching coach, a position he has held since 2005.

 

Hill’s resume includes six years as a head coach and board member with Gurnee Youth Baseball and seven years as an American Legion head coach with the Gurnee Legion.  Five of his teams qualified for the final four in District 10.

 

Hill spent two years serving as the pitching coach at Trinity International University from 1998-1999.

 

Outside of baseball, Hill has worked as an assistant coach with the Warren softball and football teams.
