Science Synopsis

So, you're in a bit of a jam regarding points for Physical Science?  If you do not have any
MISSING grades, you can complete an extra credit assignment for points towards
your homework category grade.  Take a look at the following options.
Talk to Mrs. Schmit about completing one of them for some extra points!

Find SCIENCE  CARTOONS from the newspaper that relate to any of the Topics that we will cover this year in ILS.  (Check the syllabus to see what is coming!)  Cut out the cartoon, and paper clip a note to the cartoon explaining why it is funny, and how it relates to one of the topics we will cover this year.  (Please do not forget that all summaries must be in complete sentences and be grammatically correct!)

LOOK UP INFORMATION about any of the SCIENTISTS that we have studied so far this semester.  Write a report on the information that you find and CITE your sources. (A report must be typed, grammatically correct, and include a works cited portion!)

MAKE UP YOUR OWN SCIENCE LYRICS to a well-known tune (Like Jingle Bells or Yankee Doodle Dandy).  Type out the lyrics, and be sure to indicate which tune they are sung to.  Be prepared to perform your lyrics for Mrs. Schmit if necessary.

 

PLEASE REMEMBER:
All extra credit work must be in FINAL DRAFT FORMAT.
