Science Synopsis
Mrs. Schmit has been teaching since 1992, and joined the WTHS faculty in 2002.  She earned her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University in 1991.  She went on to earn a M. Ed degree from National Louis University in 1996.  She currently teaches freshmen (ILS) and is an adjunct faculty member at National Louis University.

Mrs. Schmit is married, with one son, Charlie, born in March of 2001, and twin girls, Hallie and Maddie born in January 2006. She also has a Chocolate Lab named Bean, and a 'new to our family' Yellow Lab named Trooper

In June 2008, I successfully underwent a left hip resurface!  (Think partial hip replacement!) It is a fantastic alternative for anyone suffering with osteoarthritis (OA).
